Sangha Bongo : La maison d'un chasseur. Un autel se trouve à l’intérieur de la maison. Le chasseur doit se protéger contre le Nyama (force vitale) des animaux tués. Tout ce qui vit (animaux, humains, végétaux) est imbibé de cette énergie. Elle circule dans le sang et se loge dans le foie. Le chasseur prélève le foie de l’animal, en offre un peu sur l’autel et applique le crâne contre la façade de la maison.

Sangha Bongo: The house of a hunter. A hunter’s altar is located inside the house. A hunter is to protect himself against the Nyama (vital force) of the animals shot. All that lives (animals, humans, plants) is imbued with this force. It circulates in the bloodstream, the liver is its main container. The hunter removes the animal’s liver, offers some of it on the altar and adds the skull to the front of the house.
